1920 Silver French Family Medal White Pearls Necklace
Following WWI, in 1920, the French government created an award, Famille Francaise, for the mothers of multiple children. The children had to be at least 5 years old and have a strong sense of patriotism and duty. This award was the Silver one which was given to mothers of 8-9 children. The necklace is about 17” of hand wired white freshwater pearls and sterling silver hook clasp. It comes with the original ribbon that came with the award.
